Realigning the brand to enhance the digital customer experience

Challenge

MakMak is a growing retail brand and the existing touch points wasn’t aligning with the quality products being sold. The product is premium and the visual branding didn’t reflect this. The other factor was the pandemic and decreasing sales.

Solution

The owner and I developed new collections based on existing product lines to create ‘easy to buy’ packages we could market quickly. A digital strategy was developed which included refreshing the following touch points: newsletter, Instagram, and Facebook profiles. An updated website has been designed.

Results

During the first two quarters of 2021 compared to the previous year, we increased online sales by 44%. The average order value increased by 19% and total orders increased by 19%.
