Interpreting a 1970s Building. Wayfinding strategy and signage for students and staff
Developing a wayfinding strategy and signage design for the ‘Learning Commons’ building at CSU to create refurbished buildings at the Wagga and Bathurst campuses.
We took an old space and made it inviting and modern. It was important to define the spaces with distinct colours for each area. We also implemented wayfinding icons to easily direct students, and In using larger and bolder typefaces thought the signage, the overall visibility and functionality was improved. Modernising The Space
We incorporated the existing CSU and Student Central branding and introduced a modern, lighter and playful tone. We made certain there was enough flexibility within the design during its developing stages to ensure it could work within CSU’s existing interior colour palettes and applied to further campuses.
