After meeting with Luke King Racing at a drive day, we recognised that he had no brand recognition on the race track or online and needed some help with social media awareness and marketing.
Through a series of workshops, getting to know Luke and his team and understanding the challenges of motorsport, we worked with Luke to develop a brand that represented him. From the choice of colours through to the use of chevrons in the logo, the Luke King Racing brand is thoroughly representative of him and has played a significant part in increasing his brand visibility both on and off the track.
Once we had created the brand we worked with Luke to create a website that showcased his story, his partners and sponsors, video and photo content and a calendar of season events for his races. We used the brand to lead the way for the design and build of the website and created a user friend, easy-to-navigate website for a seamless user experience for fans and sponsors alike.
After implementing the brand new identity and website, we worked closely with Luke to develop, implement and manage a content strategy with the objectives of promoting his on-track efforts online, increase his social media awareness for fan acquisition and further the avenues of exposure of his sponsors and engaging more closely with his fan base.
We attend races with Luke to capture, edit and set live compelling content that gives people a behind-the-scenes look at his life both leading into a race and on the track.
In doing this, we have increased his Instagram engagement by over 70%, his Facebook engagement by almost 200% and his social media feed is now filled with fresh content every week! Our work with Luke has also seen him win the Publicity Star award form Toyota Racing Australia for the 2017 season.
